LG LSS 3200A DIRECTV HD Receiver Advanced HDTV Tuner

This is my initial review of this television after owning it for approximately three days.
What I like:
Watching Blu-Ray in 1080P can be spectacular! I own a PS3 and offer a 1.3a HDMI cable for connection along with picture is superb. I watched “The Prestige” and “Casino Royale” in 1080P and was amazed. No pixelation or judder during fast-moving action scenes plus the colors and details were impressive. This really is clearly what this TV was made you want to do. No complaints
I played Ninja Gaiden Sigma(720P) on PS3 therefore it looked amazing. The setting am beautiful I couldn’t even have fun playing the game. I got just observing the small print and vivid colors. Once Concerning broken-in this TV (a minimum of 100-200hrs) I’m able to play more games. I receive nervous about image retention. However, this TV offers “Pixel Shift” which is designed to help alleviate problems with cures. Also, there are numerous built-in programs that will alleviate issue if, God forbid, you can find image retention. I prefer that very much in fact it is the feature. I talked into an ISF-trained tech originating from a local store and then he said using these new plasmas that you would require to leave a graphic for a couple of hours for “burn-in” to happen. He also announced there isn’t “break-in” period like I said above, but we donrrrt want to develop DYNAMIC picture setting while it will turn your plasma into toast. So take this for the purpose it’s worth. My organization is being very cautious with my $3000 newborn.

What I recommend:
I have DirecTV HD service as well as the picture is rather NICE. Might some pixelation during rapid action or explosions, but believe me be the crappy satellite feed rather than the plasma. No complaints here.

What It looks like is fine:
The SD channels are good, but aren’t great. It is actually is different from channel to channel of which this, again, may be DirecTV. Avoid getting me wrong these are Greater than on my Samsung LCD, just not amazing or anything. My business is so spoiled. It’s funny, you’ll be watching a show in SD as well as picture just isn’t so good and after that it goes to commercial and that they look awesome. I assume what remedy they say well said “Garbage in, Garbage out.”

Other observations:
I only paid attention to the sound approximately 15 minutes because We have 7.1 surround, however it sounded good and that is exactly all I’ll inquire into that.
I read the pevious model Samsung 5054/64 has problems with judder or skipping frames with tickers(CNN,ESPN,etc.) on the bottom of a screen. I’m not against the see this concern and i also am Seeking out it big-time. Nothing that can detect. Do not on this . cause it is really not issues.

I have had this tv for 6 months now and I don’t have regrets. I will say that it will end up with hot and doubles as the heater. Especially after watching due to hours. But it’s any small annoyance.
The picture is still fantastic and I would place it facing a Pioneer Kuro anyday. It’s absolutely destroy a Panasonic. They are really beneficial plasmas, but We would stay with SAMSUNG everytime. I saw the amount has dipped below $2000 for this purpose set now. People, spouse 50″ 1080p Plasma, Really do not WAIT. Here’s the SET. I need it plus its my baby…You possibly can thank me later.
